Bar Owner Onboarding
How bar owners can claim listings, submit updates, add photos and menus, and sponsor placements on RankTheBar.

RankTheBar is a 21+ informational social discovery network where adults can share bar experiences, reviews, photos, check-ins, and recommendations. RankTheBar does not sell alcohol, arrange alcohol service, provide transportation, or encourage underage drinking, overconsumption, impaired driving, or unsafe behavior. Please drink responsibly, obey all laws and venue rules, and verify venue details directly with the bar before relying on them. Buzzed driving is drunk driving. Do not drink and drive. Use a designated driver, rideshare, taxi, or public transportation. If there is an immediate health or safety emergency, contact local emergency services.
Claim A Listing
- Create a RankTheBar account, open the bar listing, and use the claim form on the page.
- Use a business email, official website, social page, or other evidence that shows you are authorized to represent the bar.
- Claims stay pending until an administrator reviews them. Approved claims can submit listing updates for moderation.
Improve The Public Page
- Add or correct hours, phone number, website, description, photos, and menu uploads.
- Photos and menus should be content you own or have permission to share.
- RankTheBar may reject inaccurate, unsafe, promotional, or rights-infringing updates.
Sponsorships
- Sponsored listings must be clearly disclosed as advertising or paid placement.
- Payment does not remove the need for accurate venue information or honest user reviews.
- Self-serve sponsorship checkout stays hidden or disabled until Stripe is fully configured.
